Welcoming all demons and critters of the world, we offer you a weekend of dreams, nightmares and eeriness in the form of fast-paced filmmaking in Helsinki 17.-19.3.2023!

If you’ve always wondered how it would look if you could make a film about a dream you had, this is for you.
If you always wanted to make a film but were too shy, this is for you.

The theme of this workshop is the bizarre, experimental and weird, whatever that means to you. Just no hateful content <3

Kino Obscure is a Kino Kabaret workshop, which means:

• We get together on Friday afternoon when anyone with an idea for a short film can present it to the rest of the participants

• We form working groups and start making the films!

• We watch the films together on Sunday evening <3

• A Kino Kabaret is NOT a competition - we're doing this for love of filmmaking, weirdness, and fun

To join the madness, we only ask for a small fee of

13 euros from members of Euphoria borealis ry
16 euros from non-members

During the event, we'll have an online platform, Discord, to keep in touch and look for lost crew members etc. If you feel uncertain with the Discord platform, don’t worry, we’ll give you the tech support you need.
